Reach new audiences by collaborating with like-minded organizations

Tired of seeing the same faces at every event? Here’s a strategy that’s been working for us to grow an in-person audience.

The problem is it’s hard to organically distribute your organization’s events to new audiences especially when your existing audience is quite small. One of the best solutions we’ve found at Gold Sound Media, is to build lists of similar organizations in your local area. Contact whoever handles their marketing. Then, ask for an email content exchange.

This is simply placing your organization’s promotional content into their own native email that is sent to their current email list.

In return, you do the same for them at your organization.

The result is quite nice because you are beginning to tap into similar audiences who probably have an affinity to what you do, but who might not be on your email list.

Doing this enough times and at scale will result in much better outcomes for whatever you’re promoting.
