How to book high profile concerts
Here’s exactly what I’d do if I wanted to get more high-profile concerts as an artist.
Start by intentionally building your audience. You’ve got to just focus on this key task. You can't expect this to just happen; you’ve got to focus on it.
So first up, strategically use social platforms to interact with fans, share your music, and build a community.
Then create a newsletter to keep your audience updated about your upcoming events, releases, and other exciting news.
Finally, don't underestimate the power of networking. Introduce yourself to industry leaders and decision-makers. Figure out who the heads of power really are, focus your activities so that you get seen by these gatekeepers. Who you know can often be as important as what you know in this business.
Remember, oftentimes presenters who engage you for concerts are just reacting to the work you’ve already done. Meaning, they’re responding to the loyal audience you’ve built; the people who are already celebrating your artistry. Isolate your efforts to just fan building and networking. If you’re a great artist, the rest will take care of itself.
