About Gold Sound Media

Gold Sound Media® was founded in 2019 by Jonathan Eifert to solve a structural problem in the performing arts.

In this field, exceptional work has always required more than talent to reach its audience. It requires strategic positioning and an amplification infrastructure to carry it forward. The legacy media that once provided that infrastructure — the reviews, the features, the dedicated arts coverage — is disappearing. And nothing in the traditional playbook replaces it.

Gold Sound Media was built around the GOLD Framework and a proprietary distribution methodology designed to fill that gap: brand positioning as the strategic foundation, video-first content engineered for algorithmic reach, and a system that treats the algorithm itself as the infrastructure layer legacy media no longer provides.

That methodology has now been proven at the highest levels of the field.

For artists, we build systematic visibility — strategic positioning, content development, and media relations that convert talent into sustained recognition. For organizations, we build video-first marketing systems — algorithmic content strategy, distribution methodology, and paid media that convert world-class programming into audience growth and ticket revenue. The framework is the same. The application is tailored.

The results speak across every dimension of this work.

Our campaigns have powered 45+ million webcast views across two Van Cliburn International Piano Competition cycles — including the 2022 campaign whose distribution strategy amplified Yunchan Lim's performance of Rachmaninoff's Third Piano Concerto into a global sensation that helped launch an international solo career, including his debut with the New York Philharmonic and sold-out recitals at Carnegie Hall. We led the campaign for Awadagin Pratt's STILLPOINT album, which earned Jessie Montgomery a GRAMMY® for Best Contemporary Classical Composition, and led the GRAMMY campaign that earned the Miró Quartet their first-ever nomination.

We have delivered 21,500 attendees for Oregon Bach Festival through a content-first marketing transformation, driven a 50% increase in single-ticket buyers for Portland Piano International through a strategic shift to content-driven marketing, and built visibility strategies for organizations including the Gilmore Piano Festival and the Cleveland International Piano Competition. We developed the strategic framework that transformed Living the Classical Life from a passion project into one of the most recognized interview platforms in classical music — featuring Joshua Bell, Yuja Wang, Deborah Voigt, and Daniil Trifonov — with over three million views on YouTube.

We also operate Classical Post®, a media property that has reached more than 250,000 people organically through long-form interviews with leading classical musicians — and the platform where we develop and refine the content strategy we deploy for clients.

We are building the definitive strategic practice for visibility in the performing arts — and every engagement, every proof point, and every framework we publish advances that mission.

If your organization's programming or your artistry merits sustained strategic investment, we welcome a conversation. Book a discovery call.

Based in New York, we work with artists and organizations internationally.
