We're at a pivotal growth phase. This hire is the operational foundation that enables that growth.
The Role
We're hiring a Senior Account Manager to own complete operational execution for our client portfolio of world-class artists and institutions.
You are the operational leader who ensures flawless delivery across all client work. You'll manage our creative team, coordinate all deliverables, execute PR and influencer campaigns, support Classical Post production, work with AI to create marketing materials, and keep our founder on track with deadlines.

What You'll Own
Client Delivery & Project Coordination (30%)
Manage complete project execution for clients
Coordinate with team on creative direction
Break down client strategies into actionable tasks
Quality assurance on ALL deliverables before client delivery (zero-defect standard)
Maintain project timelines and anticipate bottlenecks
Resolve issues before they reach the founder
Client communication on project status and logistics (founder handles strategy)
Prepare monthly client reports
Marketing Execution with AI (25%)
Use AI to create newsletters, press releases, journalist pitches, and social copy
Edit and refine AI output to 90% final quality (founder does final 10% polish)
Understand brand positioning well enough to assess: "Is this right for this client?"
Format and distribute email newsletters across various platforms (Mailchimp, Squarespace, etc.)
Update client websites (Squarespace) with fresh content, press, bios, media
Manage social media scheduling/publishing using platform-native tools
Pull analytics and compile data for client reporting
Chief of Staff & Operations (20%)
Process multiple email inboxes ensuring work is tracked internally and appropriate messaging is facilitated externally
Prepare daily sync meeting agendas
Manage UP: Keep founder on deadline, prompt him for deliverables, shield him from operational details
Manage DOWN: Direct video editor(s), graphic designer, etc.
Review founder's calendar for upcoming week prep
Handle file management, receipts processing, and administrative tasks
Safeguard confidential information
Media Relations & PR Campaigns (15%)
Coordinate press release creation
Build targeted media lists for campaigns (journalists, critics, bloggers, podcasters)
Create pitch emails using AI and our custom prompts
Execute media campaigns: send pitches, track responses, follow up, coordinate interviews
Manage ongoing media relationships and responses
Document all coverage and compile for client reports
Present media strategies to clients and founder for approval
Influencer Marketing Campaigns (5%)
Research and identify relevant influencers based on campaign criteria
Create outreach strategies and personalized pitch messages
Execute DM campaigns on Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms
Track responses and negotiate collaboration terms
Monitor influencer posts and capture screenshots for reporting
Compile performance metrics (engagement rate, reach, impressions)
Present comprehensive campaign reports to clients
Classical Post Production Support (5%)
Manage booking podcast guests
Manage production for each episode
What Success Looks Like
In your first 90 days:
You've mastered our systems
You're independently managing client accounts with zero major errors
Clients are receiving flawless deliverables on time
Your AI-assisted copy consistently requires only minor founder polish
Video content that you’ve proofed after the video editor’s work doesn’t have any typos and includes a relevant, scroll-stopping on-screen text hook
You've executed at least one media relations campaign from start to finish
In your first year:
You're managing client accounts smoothly
Client retention is 95%+ because execution quality is excellent
The founder has 20+ hours/week free for business development (because you're handling all of the client operations)

You have operational DNA:
You're obsessed with details—typos, formatting errors, or "close enough" work are unacceptable to you
You love making complex systems run smoothly and take pride in zero-error delivery
You can juggle 15-20 moving pieces simultaneously without dropping balls
You're proactive: you solve problems rather than surface them
You bring solutions, not just problems (ideally 3 options when asking for decisions)
You understand classical music:
You have deep, current knowledge of the classical music ecosystem: artists, venues, presenters, competitions, labels, critics, media landscape
You can name major competitions, influential presenters, and key media outlets without research
You understand how artists build careers and what distinguishes effective positioning in this market
You know who the major journalists, critics, and influencers are in classical music
This isn't something you can learn on the job—you already live in this world
You're a strong communicator:
Exceptional written communication for client correspondence and marketing copy
Can prompt AI effectively and critically assess output quality
Professional presence for coordination with high-profile artists and their teams
Can give clear direction to creative team members
Comfortable crafting pitches to media, influencers, and collaboration partners
You're self-directed and entrepreneurial:
You manage competing priorities without oversight
You take ownership: if something needs doing, you make it happen
You're comfortable with autonomy in a fast-moving, small-team environment
You can manage both up (to the founder) and down (to the creative team)
Requirements
Must-Haves:
5-7+ years in account management, client services, or operations within classical music, performing arts, or arts marketing
Proven experience managing concurrent client accounts or major projects with competing priorities
Deep classical music knowledge (this is non-negotiable—you already know this world intimately)
Strong writing skills for creating and editing marketing copy
US-based with reliable high-speed internet
Available during East Coast core business hours (9 AM-5 PM ET) for daily sync meetings
Strongly Preferred:
Arts administration or conservatory background
Current or recent experience at classical music organization, PR agency, or artist management
Established journalist relationships in classical music media
Experience with influencer marketing campaigns
Comfortable with AI-assisted workflows
Experience coordinating podcast or video production
PR or media relations experience executing campaigns and building media lists
Technical proficiency: Squarespace (advanced), social media platforms, email marketing tools, Google Workspace, project management software
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $70-77K base, commensurate with experience
Remote: Work from anywhere in the US
