Situation
Pianofest in the Hamptons came to Gold Sound Media looking to outsource digital marketing and elevate the overall communications of the organization.
Strategy
We worked with their team on developing a refreshed cohesive brand across print and digital. Then we built their alumni email database from scratch to promote their education program and live concerts. Plus, we implemented regular email newsletters and local media relations.
Solution
We garnered recurring local media coverage in The Southampton Press, Sag Harbor Express, Hamptons.com, Dan’s Papers, among others. And we placed them with international music industry media for the first time via articles in International Piano and Pianist magazines.
After our communications overhaul, the critically-acclaimed actor Alec Baldwin agreed to host one of the concerts.
Further, philanthropic support for the organization increased significantly in recent years.
