Stadium Tours with Andrea Bocelli
Situation
Larisa Martínez came to Gold Sound Media seeking content creation and social media management for her collaboration with famed tenor Andrea Bocelli. It included a 6-city holiday tour of the East Coast in December 2017 (Cleveland, Detroit, Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and New York).
Each concert was held in a major arena, sold-out to capacity. The tour culminated at New York’s Madison Square Garden for two nights where Martínez made her official MSG debut. Interestingly, the actress/singer Kristin Chenoweth also made her MSG debut at the same concert.
Strategy
We created content for the client’s social media accounts that positioned her as a glamorous and approachable singer. Not only did we want to effectively message that idea, we wanted to use this tour to build her social following in a major way.
Further, we were on-site for appearances at Madison Square Garden and Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center, capturing content, showcasing behind-the-scenes footage, and publishing in real time.
Solution
We exponentially grew Martínez’s Instagram following, growing it by 350% all from organic content with no paid ads.
Over 150,000 people heard Martínez sing live, in-person on this tour.
Later in 2018, Martínez was invited to return on Andrea Bocelli’s West Coast tour where she made her Hollywood Bowl debut that also included other major arena debuts.
